The EYP international forum will take place in Batumi, Georgia from September 15-19. Over 80 youth participants from Europe will discuss contemporary issues under the motto "Uniting Youth for Peace". The forum is supported by the Georgian government and will be held at hotels in Batumi, including teambuilding activities, committee work, cultural events and presentations. Participants will discuss important issues and work to pass resolutions on topics that impact youth.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT
EYP international forum will take place in Batumi -
Georgia's premier beach resort, located on the Black Sea.
More than 80 participants from all over Europe will
gather to discuss contemporary youth issues under the
motto ¨C ¡°Uniting Youth for Peace¡±.
The forum is supported by Georgian government and
will be under the patronage of President of Georgia.
Forum participants will be accommodated in the 4 Star
hotel Era Palace, located in the city centre.
The participation process will be a great experience for
every EYP member, having opportunity to get involved in
EYP programme, have EYP fun and feel EYP spirit. Even
more, September is an exceptionally fantastic time to
visit Batumi¡¯s incredible beaches during ¡®The Velvet
Season¡¯.
3. The architecture of Batumi is particularly
refined, the city being constructed at the
height of Art Nouveau when it stood as
the primary gateway from western Europe
into Georgia. This compact white city
containing mostly 2-3-storeyed buildings,
possesses a certain unique charm.
Neither should Batumi's superb Botanical
Gardens be missed, nestled up in the hills
up against the coast, it offers a unique
combination of plants from totally
different climatic zones.
The powerful fountains in the city square
have been synchronized to the works of
several big classical composers, and the
show takes place every night.
Throughout Batumi you'll also enjoy
many entertainment possibilities sport
competitions like Polo, tennis and
Georgian wrestling, as well as singing and
dancing performances. The local
polyphonic songs are considered
masterpieces by some of the world's top
musicians and composers.
4. VENUES
Opening ceremony will be held in the
Hotel ¡°Intourist Palace¡± is the modern
5 star hotel situated in the heart of the
Batumi. The hotel is only five minute
walk from the city's central. From the
one side Hotel faces beautifully
decorated Boulevard (the cities on of
the famous places) as well as the
Black Sea cost. Also "Intourist Palace"

5. Committee work will be in Shota
Rustaveli State University
(Batumi State University.) is the
educational, research, and
cultural centre in Georgia. It
counts 75 years of history. The
strategic location, climate and
historical values of Adjara gave
Batumi a chance to take its place
among the world university cities.
The President¡¯s project Batumi ¨C
University City ¨C gained a
momentum and opened new
prospects to the university. The
priority has also been defined ¨C
contacts with higher educational
institutions of other countries.
6. ELEMENTS OF EYP SESSION
Teambuilding
Teambuilding activities are essential in order for
every delegate to get to know the Committee they
will be working with throughout the session. In a
hotel, where all the participants are going to be
accommodated, all delegates will have outdoors
and indoors activities throughout the whole
intense day with their Committees. Working
languages throughout the session are English and
French.
*Dress code: Comfortable, sports/outside activity
clothing (provide rain/snow protection!).
Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony will mark the
start of the academic part of the session.
Several Key Speakers will attend from
government of Georgia, after which the
board of the Session (Vice presidents,
Presidents of the session) will announce
session officially opened. *Dress Code:
Formal (suit, shirt, tie, dress/skirt. No
jeans or casual wear).
Committee work
During the Committee Work each Committee will create a
resolution on its respective topic with the help of an experienced
Chairperson (Chair). Delegates are expected to arrive well
prepared for the Committee Work, which includes carrying out
extensive research on the respective topic. Committee Work and
General Assembly are the basis of every EYP session, hence we
ask you to be aware of the seriousness and importance of being
active and well prepared for both events. *Dress Code: Smart.
7. Eurovillage
At the 1st night of the
Forum each delegation will
have a stand to represent its
country¡¯s culture and
regional products at EYP¡¯s
famous Eurovillage. Each
delegation will be provided
with the table to exhibit
food & beverages common
General Assembly (GA) for a country they come

9. As soon as you arrive at the Session, the organizing team will meet you and transfer
to the session premises. For this reason we need to be informed about your travel
details. As you book a ticket to Tbilisi and back, please inform us at the following:

If you are arriving/leaving to/from the airport late at night or really early at the
morning you will still be met/accompanied by the organisers, however, please, be
ready to pay 15-20 Euros for the taxi from/to the airport. You will be sent travel form
as well.
10. Make sure you meet all visa requirements
before crossing the border into Georgia.
There are no Visa requirements for up to 360
day visits to Georgia for the citizens of EU and
most of the CIS countries. Non-EU members
should check this information in their
countries. If the visa is required let us know
prior to the Forum.
EYP Georgia will provide special references for those
students who have started the academic year in
September.
