I am currently the CEO & Secretary to the Board of USPKenya, the only user-led and user-run NGO in Kenya. Users are those who are on treatment for any mental illness and survivors are those who were users at one point or another in their life. I have been keen on raising awareness on mental health issues in Nairobi using TV interviews, newspapers, journal and radio interviews. I have shared my personal 鈥渓ived鈥� experience to show how I have been able to overcome the obstacles brought by my illness (Bipolar Disorder) to his life at home, school and work.
