5. General Policy Attendance Attendance and class participation are required. Quizzes or in-class assignments that are given when you are not in class can not be made up.
6. General Policy Quizzes and Exams Quizzes will be given periodically to assess understanding of the basic material covered in the course. Exams will be given in the evening to provide adequate time to demonstrate understanding of the course topics .
7. General Policy Late Policy All homework and project assignments must be turned in at the beginning of class on the day the assignment is due. One 24-hour grace period will be allowed for each project team during the semester.
8. General Policy Late Policy Homework assignments turned in after the beginning of class will lose 20 % of the total points possible for each day it is late. No credit will be given for an assignment turned in later than 2 days after the date it is due.
