of London. It was a fortress, a royal palace, and a
prison. At the moment, it has flowers called poppies
as a tribute to the people who died in World War One.
8. The London Eye or The Millennium Wheel was built in 1999.
It is 170m high and you can see the beautiful London skyline
from the top.

plays were performed here and still are today. It is an open air theatre.
