Research Biologist

I was born in Harve de Grace Maryland,Ellen Grace Schwalbaum. My father was in the Navy there and my mother took care of my older sister Gail and my older brother Billy.When he left the Navy he moved us to Long Island. We lived in a three story Victorian house. He started a printing company and was very successful in NYC. My younger sister Carol was born a few years later. I went abroad to school when I was 16 to Le Universite de Poitiers. I spent one semester in Vermont and then moved to New Mexico to attend UNM. I was thinking I wanted to be a Veterinarian so I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry.
