This document describes the Mexican tradition of Posadas, which is celebrated from December 16th to 24th, nine days before Christmas. It has origins from both the Spanish evangelization of Mexico and pre-Hispanic celebrations in Mexico from the 17th to 26th of December honoring the god Huitzilopochtli. The document also provides instructions for making paper crafts of the characters Winnie the Pooh or SpongeBob SquarePants using various colored construction papers, scissors, and glue.
