Greg Haslett is the Senior Network Specialist and Network Solution Architect for Christchurch City Council (CCC) where he worked for 12 Years. Greg has been heavily involved in the design of computer room environments, as well as support for the new building management facilities that run the 5 star ‘green’ Council building, commissioned just prior to the September 4th earthquake in 2010.
The Canterbury earthquakes brought with them huge challenges maintaining business continuity of Council services. Greg was one of the first on site in the early hours after the magnitude 7.3 struck. A 4-wheel-drive adventure over broken roads, to ensure critical services remained operational.
