For about 8 years , I had acted as both manager and engineer.
As a manager, my role was to build up team, to manage budget/cost and risk, and to negotiate with clients/partners.
Also as an engineer, I usually construct the architecture/framework of our solution and design (sometime implement by myself) some 'core part' in them.
Now, I feel better to concentrate on my technical specialties.
