- The term "@gwenturismo" was coined by a creative director to describe the author's attitude of taking calculated risks with a backup plan, constant momentum and relentless energy. - As a child, the author enjoyed rearranging building bricks to create new structures and worlds, intrigued by how pieces fit together differently from various angles. - The author studied jewelry and sculpture in college, exploring relationships between ideas and seeking beauty in ideas rather than predefined notions of beauty. - Traveling internationally to exhibit artworks led the author to live like a local in different countries to understand various perspectives, especially through shared meals.

- 2. ¡® @gwenturismo¡¯ is coined by a creative director I worked with years ago. He was trying to describe how it feels to work with me. Essentially it means: - an attitude that inclined to calculated risks but always armed with a backup plan. - a constant momentum that revs up with every opportunity. - A relentless ball of energy Over time ¡®@gwenturismo¡¯ also became synonymous with living hard and fast.
- 3. It started with a brick
- 4. I liked that I could rearrange the bricks and create a brand new toy altogether.
- 5. Or a brand new world.
- 6. I was intrigued by the how pieces fits with each other and how the things I made looked different from other angles.

- 9. I love ¡®wow¡¯ moments. I seek to capture that equivalent in the things I make. I like it when people uncover a story through my creations. They own that moment of discovery and a story to tell. - 10. Exhibiting my artworks gave me opportunities to travel quite a bit. That¡¯s when I started traveling avidly. For every country I went to, I wanted to understand their point of view. So I lived with the locals, lived like a local. I found that food and eating like them was the fastest way to get to know.
- 11. I ate more like the Chinese so that I can walk faster, work faster.
- 12. In Spain, I ate whatever I felt like, whenever I felt like, however much I felt like. It¡¯s more important to be in touch with how I am feeling.
- 13. But I ate the most in America because eating makes me feel better about myself.
- 14. While each country has its own nuances (especially more so in behavior) At the end of the day, we are all motivated by the same things. Take the Millennials for example¡
- 16. My generation is driven by a huge sense of self belief. And its that self belief that had me write to you.
- 17. I am a great planner because: I have a clear head and strong heart My world is uncomplicated, just like a 3 year old Deep interest in people I listen hard to what others is saying before I speak Ability to modulate Well worn passport Tell great stories Strong serving of humility, humanity and doubt
- 18. I seek: To learn > Walk into office every morning feeling challenged and inspired Fearlessness > Work hard and have fun with a brave team who dreams big
