Within the government Gabriel held the position of Head of the Department of Evaluation of Medicines and Adviser of the Director at ANMAT. He actively participated in the shape and writing of the new drug regulatory framework in Argentina, being Senior Consultant in Pharmacology in the UNPD and WHO. In the international regulatory arena, he received training from medical officers of FDA, MHRA and AFSSPS..
