I am a 5th year Ph.D candidate in Web Mining Lab, Department of Media and Communication at City University of Hong Kong. I got two bachelor degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University before I came to CityU for my PhD degree, one in Media and Communication and another in Mathematics (2nd). I have diverse interests in social-web data mining, public opinion research, and social psychology of attitude change.My dissertation topic is the role of discussion atmosphere in online political deliberation via dynamic network analysis.
