My graduate research focused on synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. I designed, synthesized and characterized several series of flexible-based nucleoside analogs as potential antivirals, several of which are being further developed as anti-coronavirus agents. My postdoctoral work was focused on small molecule design and synthesis for the inhibition of HIV integrase and RNase H.
I am currently a patent technical specialist in the Biotechnology group of the law firm Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein and Fox in Washington D.C
