I am a PhD student in Computer Science at IIT Madras working on distributed systems (joined for MS and updated to PhD). I have completed and submitted my PhD thesis for external review and is expected to graduate in 1-2 months.
As part of my research work I have worked on scalability challenges in distributed systems (distributed search engines in particular). The solutions we proposed included a new class of formal problems to model a basic challenge, algorithmic solutions and novel distributed search architectures which showed significant improvement.
