About
I am Emeritus Professor of Political Science at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I taught at Indiana from 1981 to 2013. My main area of specialization is international political economy. Most of my research has been on the politics of international economic competitiveness in the advanced industrial countries. I co-directed a project on globalization in collaboration with Aseem Prakash which resulted in three edited volumes. More recently, I published a book on the politics of high definition television (HDTV) and digital television. Sangbae Kim and I published a series of essays analyzing the importance of information technology.
