Heba Assem Elfouly (*1978) studied from 1995 to 2000 Urban Design and Landscape Architecture and Planning at Cairo University, Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning. After graduation, Heba Worked as an assistant in Urban Design department and was granted her master degree in 2007 in the field of Urban Design; thesis title The Extent of Applying Action Planning Approach in the Upgrading Projects, Case Study: Manshiet Nasser, Al-Darb Al-Ahmar, Old Cairo .In 2012 she obtained her PHD in the field of Urban Planning, the thesis title "Handling Slums within the Framework of a Comprehensive Development Approach".
