Heide Imai is Asssistant Professor at the Department of Global Interdisciplinary Studies, GIS, Hosei University and Research Associate at Keio University. Heide holds a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University with a dissertation entitled ｀Tokyo¨s Contested Alleyways: The Role of the Roji in Understanding Globalization, Attachment and the Social Construction of Place¨.
