Heidi Jury was born a free spirit on Queen Elizabeth the II's 50th birthday in Calgary, AB.
Her mother, Kathleen, was a Grade One teacher and her father, Harold, worked for the Department of National Defence as an electrician and alarms specialist. Their previous careers were as ministers and their influence of loving and caring for others were passed on to their daughter.
Heidi's father is a distant relative of Eddy Arnold, the country singer and so Heidi began to show a love and talent for music, singing, and acting at a very early age. She wandered about the house with her father's shoes on and a garbage can on her head singing at the top of her lungs.
