Hernando Pe帽a, or Nando as he is more commonly known, was born in Bogot谩, Colombia and raised in Queens, NY. At the age of 12, he was selected as one of 60 students out of 8,000 applicants to attend Prep 9, a rigorous 14-month advanced course of study. This earned him a full scholarship to Concord Academy, one of the nation's top private schools. After attending Boston University (also on full scholarship), Nando has held sales positions in the mortgage and communication industries.
