Like most children, I carried an insatiable curiosity, and I had the fortunate of parents who never--outwardly--tired of my constant "why." Growing up in this environment lead me to library school, where I learned how to hone my research skills and how to satisfy my everlasting curiosity. I also realized that the organization of information, such as the use of databases, was fascinating.
After discovering a love for databases during my time as a library school student, I had the pleasure of working for a non-profit using The Raiser's Edge (by Blackbaud). I quickly realized that I loved the database and wanted to move into a database administrator's position.
