I've been in healthcare IT forever. I have limited ambition and goal-setting focus, so I tend to drift aimlessly. However, I've written HIStalk faithfully and extensively since mid-2003, so maybe that's destined to be my epitaph (on my anonymous and hopefully much-delayed tombstone, of course). I still toil daily in the IT trenches, write many thousands of words each week, and run my pitiful HIStalk empire the best I can given the limited time I have. I'd like to claim that I'm a thought leader since that makes daydreaming sound more respectable, but too many self-important droning blabbermouths have killed that term off.
