The Nature Program Director position has allowed me to work directly with the public as a seasonal, part-time educational event coordinator at New Haven Parks and Recreation. I have coordinated and led field trips for preschool through fifth grade children and adults, organized educational displays and public nature programs, and conducted interpretive nature hikes about various wetlands and riparian forest ecosystems.
