Horn of Africa Human Rights Watch Committee better known widely as ‘HORNWATCH’ is the oldest human rights NGO established in horn of African region particularly in Somaliland founded in 1988 as exile core-action-group in Djibouti, by five Somaliland university graduate students. During the early years, our activities were concentrates the monitoring and reporting of human rights violations in Somalia.1) HORNWATCH was officially registered as NGO, on January 20, 1997 and started working openly for its human rights work.
