Hyo-Soo Lee, the 13th President of Yeungnam University, is currently Professor emeritus of economics at Yeungnam University, President of the Daegu Creative City Forum, President of the Kyeong-buk Safety Forum, Executive Advisor of the ILERA. He received his B.A. from Yeungnam University, and his Ph.D. from Seoul National University in Economics. He was a visiting professor in MIT(1994-1995), Harvard University(1987-88) and UC Berkeley(1986-87).
