I have an extensive experience in the 'new economy' business area, creating companies, managing teams, and looking for new opportunities and markets. I successfully led the sale of Viajar.com to Grupo Orizonia, and also was part of the team that sold Ya.com to T-Online for more than €550 million.
In 1999 I founded Viajar.com, which went on to become the second largest online travel agency in Spain until its sale in 2007; at the same time I was VP of content, portal and ecommerce in Ya.com, a Spanish portal that we sold in 2001 to Deutsche Telekom and later to Orange.
In this position, my 200-strong team managed to create one of the largest, more profitable ad sales operation in Spain, .
