Sherlock Holmes was my idol (more than Jay Chou or Backstreet Boys!) when I was a kid. Just like how careful Holmes observed and gathered data, I always noted the little details of the things around me. My kid-imagination would then come up with some explanation that connects all the data - and then go "Eureka!" at the thought of some very exciting insights.
