I was born in Leeds and spent the first 18 years as a Yorkshire man. When starting University I moved to live in South Wales, where I experienced the joys of the Welsh Valleys. If you've ever seen the Welsh on a roll during a Friday or Saturday night you'll know what I mean.; And the Welsh women... simply a joy to behold. After University I moved to live in Milton Keynes, quite an acute contrast to life in the Valleys! Milton Keynes the city designed to be the place where everyone would love to come and live. NOT. It took meeting my wife Nicolina, an Italian to realise the true importance of history and culture.
No surprise then that when we first started to live together it wasn't in Milto
