Kumar in khujli dilemma of Dhob singh
- 1. Dhob singh and his Khujli Mr Kumar is joyous man and he lives by firming crops. Everyday while coming from firm, he attends the prayer in nearby temple for good crop production. Other day, he donated some of new rice seedlings to poor farmers in the village. He thought such good work will bring good luck for him. This year it has not rained. Mr. Kumar was quiet tense, the little son has grown up and he has given admission to near by town. This year has been quiet bad. Draught and bad weather were affecting life. Kumar is worried man. Upon reaching his field, he realizes most of the crops are affected. Mr. Kumar approaches the local leader to get some assistance for better harvesting. The local leader is intelligent man.Chatur singh is old wrestler who was famous for his fighting skills. His father left large property before his demise. His first wife deserted him and many in the village believes Chatur used to demand dowry from his first wife. Chatur understands, there are large number of people are affected by bad weather. He has not done much to tackle the situation. Chatur singh realizes Kumar approach can lead to big discussion on the real issue.Therefore, he asks Mr. Kumar to meet him some-other day. Meanwhile, he makes some arrangement he calls Dhob Singh to meet him on same time when Kumar is going to meet him. Dhob singh is another farmer in same village. God made him unfortunate because he is physically challenged. He finds difficulty working with one hand. Chatur has earlier suggested Dhob singh while Kumar comes to meet him you rub yourself against the wall and make it look like you are dancing in happiness When Kumar arrives to meet chatur he finds something interesting. Kumar make his request about weather affected condition of the lands. Chatur Singh finding it difficult replies it is not like that ..Look at Dhob singh.. He is not having hand but still he is dancing . He only came to inform that this year has been good for crops Embarrassed Kumar started considering he only could not cultivate well. Upset Kumar thought to ask Dhob singh about his success. Meanwhile Chatur asks Kumar to leave because he has some urgent works. Kumar quiet upset with himself decides to ask Dhob singh what is the secret of this success. On insisting Dhob singh could not hide it for long.
