I am a thousand-a-day wordsmith.
My first book, A Beautiful Lie was published by Bloomsbury last year. People seemed to like it, especially young adults around the UK and now abroad. It was also shortlisted for a few awards like the Waterstone's Book Award 2011, the North East Book Award, the Essex Book Award and the Redbridge Book Award and recently Longlisted for the Branford Boase award 2012. I'm a qualified Librarian and literacy teacher and currently Writer-in-Residence at Quintin Kynaston School in London. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me the game's up and that it's all a big hoax. Until they do, I'll keep scribbling . . .
