More than 12 years of association with and experience in Geo-ICT Development and Engineering fields and obtained PhD in the domain Geo-information and Earth Observation at the University of Twente, Netherlands.
Dr. Imran obtained MSc degree in physics from University of the Punjab (PU), Pakistan. In 2003, he joined directorate of information technology, Pakistan Railways (PR). At PR much effort was invested in developing the freight container tracking system and business intelligence based on Geo-ICT technologies. Simultaneously he received master degree in information technology (2004-2006) from PU. In 2007, he moved to Netherlands for higher studies under a research fellowship 鈥淢S lead.
