I am research oriented with credible research skills in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Animal handling and basic lab practices, Health Informatics and Evidence-based Practices, Molecular Genetics and Immunology. My lab's research seeks to understand and discover natural products, basically, of plant sources that have pharmacological effects. I also seek to elucidate the mechanism of action these plants by studying receptors, cytokines, mediators and enzymes through the body with the goal of identifying phytochemicals that exhibit useful binding affinity and therapeutic potential.
