I am currently doing research on cloud-assisted mobile distributed computing. My expertise is on designing and implementing programming frameworks+middleware for smartphone sensing and collaborative computation. My most recent research project (Sentio) is designed to collectively utilize a user's available sensors. Sentio has a distributed middleware and an API set. Additionally, I have designed and developed a distributed middleware (Moitree) for the Avatar mobile-cloud platform (http://web.njit.edu/~borcea/avatar/). I have also developed a high-level API set for writing distributed apps for mobile platform.
