This document discusses various tests that are performed prior to and during hair coloring services. It describes skin tests that are done to check for allergic reactions to hair products. Elasticity, porosity, and incompatibility tests are explained which check the hair's strength, ability to absorb moisture, and compatibility with previous treatments. The document also covers test cuttings which involve applying color to small sections of hair to ensure the desired results will be achieved before proceeding with the full service. Strand tests check lightening and toning during the coloring process. Proper testing is important for safety, achieving good results, and avoiding legal liability.
