Dr Geer Mohammad Ishaq is a Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Kashmir, J&K, India, where he has been working for the last twenty years. He has been instrumental in designing and starting a post-graduate programme in Pharmacy Practice at his University and is presently in-charge of this particular course offered by the University of Kashmir. He is also Coordinator at UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, University of Kashmir. Dr Geer has also served as a Drug Control Officer with the Govt. of J&K, India for a period of about three years prior to joining the Kashmir University. He holds a doctorate in Pharmacology.
