In charge of making the refactor of the scraper of www.mytaste.com. We use Scrapy + Redis to scrap and store the information in order to populate it to the website databases. I was member of a team of 3 people in charge of maintaining and developing new functionalities for the scraper.
Created a web service in order to control every functionalities the scraper should have (Django + Django REST Framework + Angular.js).
In charge of integrating a natural language processing tool in our scraper in order to understand the recipes we were extracting (NLTK).
