Out of the 20 individuals that were given the
questionnaire, 50% were shown to be between
the ages of 16-20 years old. The age with the
lowest number was Age 10 and below and 30+.
This means that I should focus mainly on the 1620year olds

and females. The ratio of male to females
is equal which gives me a more fair range
of answers when looking at the survey.

claim that they purchase magazines at random
times. This indicates that my magazine should
be a monthly release.

a few people preferred music magazines
slightly under this price. This indicates to
me that the magazine front cover should
indicate a clear price which is relatively
inexpensive

The most preferred presentation of musical
news and information is via magazine. This
confirms that target audience would be pleased
with a magazine and that they would be able to
influence the decisions I make with the
magazine.

local musical affairs. This suggests that I should in
cooperate this into my magazine.

When looking at the result s the most popular genres of music
magazines are Hip-Hop and R&B. This suggests to me that I
should in cooperate an R&B and hip hop magazine to make my
magazine as they are quite similar. However I realised that the
majority of the people that picked hip hop are young
males, whereas the people who selected R&B were mostly
women. This means that I showed represent the conventions of
the genres to suit their popular gender.

The results show that artists and celebrities are the most effective
methods that producers use to attract its audience. This points out
to me that I should consider all of the stated features above but I
should put emphases on the celebrity that can be used depending
on the user target.

The fact that a vast majority of the people asked
prefer a more urban style of magazine suggests
that they believe that they can relate to this
more. I can include this value when designing my
