My current position is lab analyst in Abbvie, Sligo, a global Pharmaceutical company. My Job responsibilities include testing of raw material, in-process, API and final drug product to ensure quality standards are met. Previous to this I was a Ph.D. student in the Institute of Technology Sligo in the field of cancer research. My project focused on the preclinical evaluation of novel hybrid chemotherapeutics on several cancer cell lines. During my studies, I was also employed for 9 months as Lab demonstrator in the subjects of chemistry, biology, and microbiology.
