I am a Tasmanian artist living in Launceston. My work has always been heavily influenced by my boyhood fantasies of being a fighter pilot during World War 2. From a very early age I started to draw these machines and became attracted to the aesthetic of the aeroplane more than the functions they were designed to carry out. I have always been interested in the intent of the designers and how much consideration was given to form in the process of meeting the demands of the function.
