I've worked for myself since I was 25 years old (I'm a bit older now) primarily because I enjoy being able to make my own decisions (and mistakes) and like to be creative in everything that I do. My first company was an English school in central London and although it taught conventionally I created an image and ethos that marked it out from all of the other schools in central London, if not the UK. We were the first business in London to use images of Brick Lane and the East End to promote the 'real' London and take students to places that they would not normally find.
