Javiera is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds a PhD in Education, and the co-coordinator of the Open Education Working Group, Open Knowledge International. She collaborates in a series of projects in relation to Open Education Development supporting capacity building in academia. She also teaches and supervise dissertations
