I think it's hard to describe oneself. We tend to ignore or minimize our faults and exaggerate our talents. I'm pretty ordinary. My children are often embarrassed by or mad at me, so I must be doing something right. My husband still finds me sexy and interesting, and the feeling is mutual. As for history, after BSC, I went to med school for 2 years. Once I started clinicals, the stress/anxiety made me realize I was not cut out for being a doctor. Since I had a Navy scholarship, continuing to get my MD meant I would have to practice medicine. I quit. I worked in a research lab for 6 years at UAB.
