Just a thought: I鈥檓 so thankful, happy, glad, fortunate to have such artistic, creative and well cultured parents. Everything about my child hood was very unique and inspiring. My mother was either experimenting with fabric or whipping something in the family kitchen or her many restaurants or cafes. Even at Christmas time she taught me at a very young age to make home made decorations and by 8 I was cooking french toast and spanish omlettes confidently. My dad was always testing me on my geography knowledge and different languages when we travelled overseas. He would show me the clothes and shoes he designed with mum and also by himself.
