I have a full understanding of the King code III legislation, public finance management act (PFMA), treasury regulation, companies act and accounting policies. I also have knowledge in management accounting regarding risk management, budgeting, planning, strategizing and decision making.
I have learnt to look beyond financial risks and statements, but also to consider wider issues such as the organization鈥檚 reputation, growth, its impact on the environment and the way it treats its employees. I intend to follow the management accounting route and further my studies in that field, to obtain the CFA (certified financial analyst) designation.
