Jennifer Cragan’s scientific background includes research in organic and inorganic chemistry, experience with coastal and open ocean fieldwork, and development and implementation of field study plans. Jennifer has contributed her water quality experience and expertise to evaluating water quality issues in coastal waters. She has also developed a chemical kinetics model for addressing toxicity in chemical spills including near-real time feedback with environmental parameters. She has participated in both modelling and operational responses to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and the Fukushima reactor crisis.
