I was born on February 6th 1965 in Ostend, Belgium. It happened to be my mother's birthday. She was expected to deliver on February 14th, but because a caesarean was necessary she opted to choose her birthday as my birthday. I don't know what would have been the better. Would it have been an advantage being born on Valentine's Day ? Although my father died at an early age when I was three, I had a nice childhood. No brothers and sisters, just my mother & me and we got along well.
