--Worked in Emergency Medical Services for my early years. Saving lives was a rush. Some of my peers mocked me for my participation with the local ambulance until I was picking them up off the field, mat, or court. Having someones life drain in front of you with only seconds to react provided me with such stimulation and reason for being.
The placement of a tube in their throat or maybe the correct cocktail of medication along with a jolt of electricity to get things started again. Gun shot victims, overdoses, trauma, and even child birth.
