I am passionate about lending my knowledge and skills to social ventures, particularly in the civic and education spaces where well executed good ideas can change lives. Experience as a middle and high school teacher, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, and involvement in professional organizations like NCTE, National Writing Project, and Kansas City Women in Technology have prepared me well to contribute in meaningful ways to organizations with social missions.
