I tried shoplifting a 50-cent piece of fudge from a Christy's when I was 14 but was caught and banned from the store for life.
I finished tenth among rookies and third among juniors (25-and-under) at the 2002 American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. I was first among junior rookies, but they don't give a trophy for that.
