My background is in agronomy, specialized in spatial analysis and the use of information technologies for natural resources research and management. My focus is on water and biodiversity resources. I have worked in rural development with indigenous and farmers鈥� communities in Colombia, Per煤 and Central America. I am currently instructor of the MSc distance learning program known as UNIGIS from the University of Salzburg in Austria. In parallel, I usually have one or two research projects during the year.
