About
I'm Executive Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies at University of Mary Washington. I'm an advocate for lifelong learning and the public digital humanities. I've taught for 14 years in seven departments at five institutions and have designed 27 courses in a range of subjects, including pedagogy, digital humanities, new media, film studies, film production, literature, and digital writing. In 2011, I founded the academic journal Hybrid Pedagogy, which combines the strands of critical and digital pedagogy to arrive at the best social and civil uses of technology and digital media in education.
