James L. Fishback is the Chancellor's Club Distinguished Teaching Professor, Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine, University of Kansas, School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Director of Curriculum Design in Continuing Education (CE)/Professional Development. Before moving to CE in 2012, he helped to develop, and then direct the basic science curriculum at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from 2005 - 2011. Outside the university, he is a USAF veteran, who served as a flight surgeon during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 303rd Fighter Squadron, then became a medical squadron commander, with the rank of Colonel (O-6), in the United States Air Force Reserve, 442nd Fi...
